Naturet products’ impact on groundwater would be only minor and local

Environmentally friendliness has been the cornerstone of our development work concerning our Naturet products right from the beginning. As part of the risk assessment concerning energy well drilling into bedrock and use prepared by the Geological Survey of Finland, a mathematical modelling of a situation in which Naturet Geosafe product would be accidently discharged to the environment was arranged. The study and risk assessment carried out by modelling are part of the Smart Otaniemi project, which is funded by Business Finland.

Special attention should always be paid to the processing and storing of heat transfer fluids. The study funded by Business Finland surveyed the impacts of heat transfer fluids discharged to the ground on groundwater through modelling. It was concluded that overall impacts of heat transfer fluids in a leakage or accident situation are minor, local and short term.
